God Isn’t Boring –

why should Sunday School be?

A burning bush; a voice in the whirlwind; a dry path through the center of the sea – we serve a creative and creating God who surprises through the Word and through our world.

Our God is anything but predictable, yet there is one thing on which we can always depend: God loves us, no matter what. At FCC, we are committed to sharing that message with our children and youth, and to walking with them as they learn and grow in their faith journey.

Welcome to KidZone!!

On Sunday mornings, children and youth from preschool through grade 4 stay with their families for the first part of worship and then leave for KidZone with their teachers following the Children's Message. KidZone is a dynamic and interactive method of teaching children about the word of God. Using the Sparkhouse Digital Curriculum, the classes are based on age-appropriate Bible Stories, Bible Readings, and Church Traditions. The lessons include art projects, cooking classes, activities, and games. Done in three-week segments, the children will read the assigned Bible passage three times as they engage in a different activity each Sunday to enhance their learning.  Please come play with us on any given Sunday!

MIDDLE SCHOOL

Middle School youth grades 5-8 remain with their families for the first part of worship and then meet up in the Middle School lounge for informal discussion and lessons that are scripture-centered, often involving video clips to enhance material and prompt discussion. Come hang out with us!

Nursery Childcare for infants and toddlers up to age 2 is available during the entire worship service and KidZone time. Staffed by a dedicated nursery care provider assisted by CORI-checked volunteer members, our nursery offers a safe, fun, and clean place for our littlest ones to play and relax. It is supplied with books, toys, and other interesting things to keep your young ones engaged and happy while you join us in the sanctuary.
