An Open and Affirming & Creation Justice Church of the United Church of Christ

Together, our church changes lives.
Dear Church Family and Friends,
As we grow in faith together, we endeavor to shape ourselves into the person God inspires us to be. Our Stewardship theme, "Growing in Caring and Sharing", reminds us of our Church’s ongoing efforts to serve others. Your past contributions have helped those who live with food insecurity, inadequate housing and other physical needs. We have extended our hands and hearts to those who need comfort and dignity. We’ve offered faith formation for children and adults to strengthen our spirituality. We have strived to cherish God’s creation. Our valued staff and well-maintained building allow us to serve as a community resource. None of this would be possible without you.
At this time, the needs of the world around us call us to expand what we can do to further God’s purposes. We hear in scripture that those who trust in God are like trees which never fail to bear fruit. It is our confidence in God that enables us to give and to grow. Help us to grow our caring and sharing by making a pledge.
For this year’s Stewardship campaign, we ask you to prayerfully consider your level of financial support for our church. You can use the enclosed pledge card and the addressed envelope to make your pledge. Or if you prefer, you can use the QR code below to make your pledge online. Or you can go directly to www.fccsm.org, click on the GIVE button, and scroll down to make your pledge. (No stamp required.) When you make your pledge, it represents your best intentions for the coming year. If your circumstances change, your pledge can be adjusted at any time.
We hope that you will be with us on Sunday, October 25th for Stewardship Sunday, when we acknowledge all the pledges from the congregation.
In the spirit of faithful growth,
Your Stewardship Committee,
Deb Del Dotto
