The Care Teams are a beloved ministry in our Church and continue to provide support and encouragement to members of the congregation who are temporarily or permanently separated from the life of the Church. The Care Teams are there to provide cards of sympathy, support, get well wishes and “thinking of you” sentiments. The Care Teams are also ready to provide calls or visits if someone is lonely or in need of some company. Members of the Care Teams make soups, casseroles, quick breads, and cookies to replenish the Care Team’s freezer in case there is a need for meals to be provided. We also deliver the meals we make as needed. We also, occasionally, provide transportation to doctor’s appointments or to Sunday morning services. The Care Teams are activated after receiving notifications from members, the Pastor, or the Church Office.
