Everyone's journey in grief is different. Grief has no time limit.
GRIEF DURING THE HOLIDAYS
First Congregational Church will offer a new, six-week grief support group for adults who are experiencing grief during the holidays. The group offers an oasis for participants during the tender time of the holidays after the death of a loved one.
Weekly gatherings will offer a supportive community of other travelers navigating the holiday season and discussion of specific strategies for coping with this often difficult season.
Participants are encouraged to attend each week, if possible, although you are not required to do so. Pastor Karen Dorshimer-Chaplin will facilitate the group, drawing on years of professional experience as a hospital and hospice chaplain, as well as her own personal experiences as a traveler on this journey.
When and Where: This six-week grief support group meets Mondays, November 9 through December 14, 11:00 am - 12:30 pm in the Chapel located by Gifford Hall.

A Blue Christmas service will be held in Gifford Hall on Sunday, December 20 at 1:00 pm. All are welcome to this service of hope and consolation.
