Grief Support Group
Everyone's journey in grief is different. Grief has no time limit.
SEASONS OF THE GRIEF JOURNEY

Seasons of Grief, the church's bereavement support group, offers an oasis for those traveling on the often-difficult journey of grief and an opportunity to gain strength, find hope, and be refreshed while traveling this journey with other companions.
LENT and SPRING 2026
Seasons of Grief continues to meet during Lent and as we move into spring.

During Lent, the group will be using the devotional Grieving Change and Loss: The unpredictable, non-linear, faith-filled journey toward resurrection. Participants will receive a copy of the devotional.

When and Where: This drop-in general grief support group meets on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of each month from 9:30 -11:00 am, in the Chapel located by Gifford Hall.

The group is facilitated by Pastor Karen Dorshimer-Chaplin who has both professional and personal experience navigating the grief journey. She may be contacted at karen@fccsm.org for more information.
